Well, we haven't seen too many Strarling yet and we do have alot in the summer. I really don't like them, except that they do eat grubs and I suppose thet is good, but they also go after the baby birds in our nests. :eek:

Mary Ann, it is an Oregon and Washington thing I guess. I never heard it called Bark Dust until we moved up here from San Diego. Down there I don't even remember seelng it. But is does keep the weeds down and the moisture in and looks pretty.It is ground up Fir bark. Karma, do you use it?

O.C., that looks like the Deer Fern we have in Oregon, it is everywhere. Lew dug up a bunch of them for me when we first moved in they stay green all winter long and in the spring whenthe new fronds begin to show upat the bottom, we cut all the old ones off and then the new stuff comes up great. Pretty pictures. i have some little Green Kapitan spikes peeking up. But we may have snow this weekend. That can's be good! I also have Camellia blooming. Small bloooms but still blooms.

two New Heuchera

I recieved two new Heuchera today from the Big Dipper Farm. Lime Rickey and Marmalade. Beautliful good sized plants in fine shape. It is my first time ordering from them, but it won't be my last. The BDF is in Washington and I am so happy I found it. Karma, have you tried them? :)

Couple of questions; How do I post a Hosta list and how the heck does Chris handle such long lists. Would it be better to have two column of names? Compared to some, mine is not that long, but I hope to get there, but there are so many I want. :roll:
