Oh yes, free hosta. I have a couple that are nice big plants now, and several weedlings from last year.

If yes, could you post a picture? I have three plants that could be BF, but I only have one H. Barney Fife!! I have checked the hosta library and I need more pictures. Thanks for helping. plantbug

Is Miracle Grow good for hosta? If yes, how long in the season can you use safely?

LiquidFeet, I am in zone 7 and all of my hosta are in pots. They stay where they are all the time as they are too big to be moved. I have lost maybe five hosta in past five+ years but can't say it was the winter weather. I don't get much snow but the hosta seem to like it where it is colder than 7. ...

Phil, Does this nursery with the 1800 hosta have a web site? I have been looking for H. Dragon Wings ever since I saw in the LeFever's garden. The mature plant in his garden was dark green. plantbug
