I've had one for several years and I don't think it's any bigger than when we got it.

I love the pictures of it in a pot. Perhaps I'll dig mine up and give that a try.

Wow, I love the celestial sport. Geez, I love sports in general...i don't seem to be too successful with them once they are split off. I think I love them too much. The 2 I've seperated have gotten crown rot and died. sniff. Are you better off putting it in the ground or a pot?

renaldo, I bought it last year because it already had a single eye that was streaking. It's still only a single. One thing I have noticed is that the leaf edges do drawstring a bit. I've got a ST doing the same thing. Mine is a whole division, however the none of the leaves are the same. Here are a few pics.

W've got you beat twoblackdogs...it's been a month since we've had rain. Fortunately it hasn't been horribly hot, so things aren't too dried out yet. The air is very dry though so I'm sure the hosta need more water than usual.

I've used it, but it didn't seem to affect the deer. Do you have to use it alot, i.e. repeated, frequent applications? That might harm the plants if used too often.

Good to know it likes sun b/c I just planted it in a spot that get's about 4 hrs of sun...and lots of water. I'm so excited to see what comes up next year. I have Color Glory and it's doing extremely well. I'll have to post a picture of it soon. It's gotten really hugh! It's been in the same spot since I planted it. I guess it likes it there.

Here's a picture of Niagra Falls from late last year (October)...this year it's larger than last year. It's a winner in my opinion.

Question: Are those trees Silver Maples? Have you had much in the way of a root problem. I understand they are notorious for stealing water from the hosta. Hopefully you've got that one solved.
