Jane, I just did a GOOGLE search and found several sites that sell them.

This one happens to show both types, and also has a little speculative history about it

Shorter, duller carbon blade?

I'm confused, now. Can you tell?

If I get one, I'll name it "Darla", after this girl in High School who's reputation was rather questionable.

That's it! Thank you! and thanks for telling me there's a difference.

Gosh, with such a repetitive dirty name, you'd think I'd have remembered that.

What's the name of that garden knife everyone liked?

Good, for pruning, digging, etc...

It was some sort of Japanese name, or at least a Japanese knife. ha ha

Do y'all have any idea what I'm talking about?!?!?

I googled Camassia images, and what I saw didn't look like these. Camassia seem to be more elongated. These flowers are quit short and chubby.

I'll keep looking.

Simply, Semps that are planted in a rock = "Rock-O-Semps"
(Rock of semps)

Same as Semps planted in a box = "Box-O-Semps"
(Box of Semps)

Just a funny way of saying it. :D

I haven't had it long enough to decide, Gruntfuttock.

(By The Way, want to give me an explanation for your name? :-)

I think it looks good in mixed planters, and I thought it would contrast well with light-colored Hostas. Hopefully, the rest will live and I'll get to see if I like it this Summer.

My Black Lab ate my Black Mondo Grass!

I thought she was playing with a Crow feather and was thinking, "Good Dog!" Until I went out and had a look around for the bird. It was the center tuft of my Black Mondo grass!!!! She took the middle right out of it. Stupid dog.

He did it for a cocuple of weeks, just following the example of co-workers, before I bought him the book. He says it helped him to better ...
