Sorry Ren, I didn't get to go either!
I also ordered the book and will have to pick it up at a later date. Maybe we can get together then? I was going to try to pick mine up after the holiday but I'll wait till the next tour if you're coming.

They all look great. My Sagae is having a problem this year, I think it got trampled when the mulch got brought in, but at least I can enjoy seeing yours.

Re: Out in the garden this weekend

TEC needs to move, she's running out of breathing room with Guardian Angel and Copa Cabana crashing in. TEC is 3 years old so will probably get a bit bigger yet. I have a slug problem period, none of my hostas are exempt. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v671/fenceberry/TracysEmCupCopaCabana-1.jpg ...

Re: Out in the garden this weekend

Thanks! Copa doesn't really get a lot of direct sun at my house, maybe a little in the late afternoon. It's about 3 years old now and I'm really happy with the way it looks.

Re: hosta Magnificent Michele

I grew some hosta from seed, was given some unnamed hosta seedlings, and bought some unnamed seedlings at various auctions. The ones I liked the best, I named after family members. That's one way to get one named whatever you want, anyway, and it's not just an unknown with the "wrong" name on it. I ...

Your's is a giant compared to mine, LG. I don't know what happened to it, it's smaller than when I got it from the Boyz. Maybe I'll try moving it again, for the third time.

I've had mine 3 or 4 years, too, and I agree with Lucy, mine sucks. I moved it to get more sun a couple of years ago and it is still a tiny little thing.
Your's looks great! Wish I could grow hostas in pots but I can't even grow petunias in pots, so maybe it's me.
