From my reading so far, hosta breeding is more art than science. I've had some advice, so far, and I'll use the term "dominant" very loosely, because as far as I know, there are no strictly dominant characteristics. In other words, if you breed a fragrant hosta to a non-fragrant hosta, you cannot ex...

Hostadad, you are right, trading is fun. I went out to gather my hostas this morning and tugged an eye out of one that was potted up just so that I could add just one more to the package!

I can't help but also be excited to see what is coming though!
