I'm with you, John....love it and have no issues w/ growing hosta in it. I have some monsters that don't bat an eye at it.

Although they all seem to also have general heat damage, I definitely think they all have nematodes.

I got a slew of TCs this year - first time. I have to say, at the end of the day, I would choose only a few carefully to grow on to maturity. Some of them just aren't worth it - ie, My Child Insook, Jerry Landwehr, Ooh La La...I could go on. Some are awesome - Chodai Ginba, Small Sum, Fallen Angel.....

I agree that the second one does look like 'todes.

If we could have every hosta we want today, how much fun would it be tomorrow? I absolutely agree, Bill! I have a couple of VERY special plants that have been gifted to me and I would never, ever violate the wishes of the givers and profit from the plant. I hope that others will adhere to that same...
