Thanks, Mark. Not spectacular but certain not sucky. They look fine. What I don't like are long stocks with half a dozen blooms on top. So this works for me. Faint praise, I know, but I'm fussy.

Midnight Rose is new this year. I've kept it in its pot and it gets afternoon sun. As it is so dark, I figured it would look nicest in a pot. I have planted dark geraniums in the garden and they really disappear against the ground.

Even funnier, I read Winter Lightning. Mine is still one one streaky small eye after 5 years...

But I did do a bit of shopping in town. I picked up Peach Melba and Midnight Rose. I was thinking about Rave On and Firefly...But the one I really want is Peachy Keen.

Other possibilities are Velvet Night and Frosted Violet.

I'm thinking that I have two pots of the same thing. I was going to try take pics to send you, because I'm pretty sure that I got it from you. I have labels in my pots but the ink faded. Sigh.

Last time I saw it, it was at least 10 feet wide. Was it last year or the year before...it's got to be 15 feet at least now.

You've got some very pretty foliage there. Now all you need is to get good blooms. I've given up on buying foliage only heucheras as I don't have space anymore.

I have been unusually restrained in my plant shopping this year. Still thinking about Hollywood and a few others. I love the long blooming ones.

Beautiful. I had to move mine to my father-in-law's garden because I didn't have a good spot for it. In three years, it's only put up one or two bloom stalks. Sigh. I'm sure my father-in-law is going to enjoy it.
