Re: Francee Streaked
Hi, I have been having good luck w/ Francee. I am pretty sure I also seen it work as a pollinator today from a previous cross. I had some really hot, humid days and nights though. The pollen is definetly better w/ heat. Some of the flowers are definitely more fertile than others on the same plant. H...

Hi, Will Krossa Regal ever work as a pod parent? Does it work for pollen? Somehow, I would like to put plantaginea flowers/fragrance on a 6' Krossa scape...no need to bend over. That would really perfume the night air. Lullabye, one of my favorite plants. It seems to be a NUN...in and out. I have cr...

Re: Is this HVX?
To clarify; toss them out means to get rid of them before roots develope and root into the ground which is the real problem w/ cantamination. Where do she start and stop? This is a way to not have to worry. Removing them now is a heck of a lot less work then moving and lifting rooted in 75# rootball...

Re: Is this HVX?
Hi Kaylared, I sympathize w/ the situation. Sorry. :( Honestly, now is the time to simply trash the works. Toss the shovels too. Research has proven once the plant/ground is infected, left vacant for 18 months, another clean plant placed there; the result: infected plant. I used the 18 months becaus...

Re: H. Seducer anyone?
Hey, Paul thanks! :D On this margin burn: I have several varieties of plants here w/ a margin burn. The burn showed up very late. It is frost damage. I won't mention any supplier names. I think many of these plants as w/ Seducer, came from the same source where there was heavy frost damage. It took ...

Re: H. Seducer anyone?
Hi, I don't have any "burn". A little frost damage on a few on the very outside edges. Seducer is going to be beautiful. It is distinct in coloration. As it matures there is a influx of 5-6 psychedelic colors mixed together w/ a beautiful 24k gold edge; the only true gold edge I know of. This is the...

Re: Convention Episode 1 - the quilt
Jim,
That is absolutely Stunning!!!!
Mama would actually let that piece of hosta be part of the bedroom?
I had to laugh about the "Quilters" being more crazed. Good to know.

H. 'Alex Summers'-$8.00
Hey,
Chris has this one on "special" for a ridiculous low price of $8.00.
It is one of my favorites. Excellent "long Season" performance. Good/Excellent sun tolerance here in the North.

Re: What do you think about this sport?
Hello, Renaldo's "direction" deserves most of the credit. I went from there. I think you have one worthy of a patent! Radiant Star also should be. However, I dislike patents from a purchase/growers perspective. From a intruducers perspective, I imagine it may be the way to go? :???: :-? Congr...

Hello there, I have the Gardens and Nursery open for the "Open Garden" tour for the National Convention. Hi, I think I know what you mean. It is beautiful. I have been watching some for 5-6 years. However, it is most noticed in the spring and juvenile foilage. As the plant matures and later in the season all the leaves look normal. If the leaf would stay small, large dark green margin, and substance I ...

Re: All are smaller or dead
Hi, I have good luck w/ most here. I would not purchase Tiramisu, Pistache, or Citronelle!!! Out of a few dozen of each there isn't any left or very few. The yellow's are very sensitive to light. They need enough for vigor, but too much and they turn brown from sunburn. It is near impossible to win ...
