The color is accurate no messing with photoshop or funky filters. I do Like this one and the seedlings from her have been pretty good too.

Five years in and some of my seedlings are really developing their mature characteristics and i must say i am happy with how things are going. The hosta below is my favorite at the moment and yes i realize some people find "plain old greenies" boring but i think this one can hold it's own among some...

Hi Barbara yeh i should have mentioned the genetics Ooops. The mother was a seedling from Monopoly (op seed) and the father was Tiny Tears and it was planted in late winter. Here is a shot of mom and child, mom is 4 years old BTW.

Thanks no filter or post processing and it's the nikon d60, i was holding out for a d300 but glad i didn't wait as i am impressed with the cameras ability to deal with highly variable lighting situations even in auto mode, though full manual control is great to have.

Thanks everyone. This plant is by far the longest lasting blue in my garden and it's color is still holding up well. Well Maureen asked what the flowers are like and to be honest they suck as is demonstrated in the picture below but on a brighter note it stays bluer than anything else in my garden during the summer.
