Yes, it is a great winter project. Too busy with hostas in spring and summer...and playing golf and playing bridge and babysitting my grandchildren. I do dye my own wool. Sometimes I think I enjoy dyeing the wool more than the actual hooking. You never know what will come out of the dye pot!

I enjoy rug hooking. I case out all the local thrift stores and purchase wool skirts to make the rugs. Thanks for the welcome. I have been lurking on this forum for several years and decided to finally join in. As you can see from my user-name I have had serious problems with voles. My cat has helped reduce the population, but not nearly enough. For the last 2 years I have been pouring DeCon down tho...
