I'm a member of that club. The only reason we use landscape cloth now is to place between the block and dirt so it won't wash out when it rains. And sometimes it doesn't even help then if it's too much rain.

Yay!!! Our yard sign came yesterday. DH attached it to a post today and put it up!

I totally understand about the weather. It got down into the 30's here night before last. Doesn't look like we lost anything though.
