I have Jack Frost Brunnera and it does not die back until it frosts.
The foliage stays very pretty all summer.

Re: Wildlife Prairie park
Annie,
Great pictures. My daughters school mascot is the cougar and she loves your picture.
I am looking at getting a new camera and want to know what kind you have. That feature that will focus out the fence is really cool.
Thanks for sharing the pictures and thanks for the info.

Claudia, Thank you so much for posting this useful information. I know how almost all of the features on my camera work and I use them, but I was never clear with the ISO thing, and my manual is useless on this point. I check in here at Hallsons almost everyday and read posts. I don't post much, but...

This is the spot I chose to post, because it was such an eyesore when we moved here. That is a "hump" because there is a dozer pile of fence posts and wire under there that was covered with manure. The soil is fantastic, but it is a mess under it. When we moved here it was covered with hemlock about...

This bird was in my neighbors yard this morning. I saw it as my daughter was getting on the school bus. I grabbed my camera and was only able to get a shot at a distance, so it is a little fuzzy, when I crossed the street to get a better view it flew. My neighbor saw me and called to see if I knew w...
