I picked two streaked one up this year too...I'm not expecting much but we'll see what the future brings.

Yes it's a shame that Clovelly was one of the first elle pot experiments with Walters. It really hurt the sales of that plant. I think a lot of gardeners and nurseries were discouraged with Clovelly. Unfortunately many people think it’s a poor grower and it's really not.

After two duds...third time was a charm for me and mine also has wider edges and still producing wavy edges.

Bare legs it has. The mature plant holds it's leaves pretty horizontal with just the curly tips cascading down a bit.

A sixty foot high raised bed will be hard to garden don't you think :lol: Sorry Rob but that's how i read it (I'm a little tried) I think it will be fine for your garden and unless it's very deep shade with lots of root compitition you needn't worry. Mildred was such a gem! I always enjoyed talking to her at conventions. No one could top her stories! And what a collection of plants she left to us all. She will be missed.
