Yes it's a shame that Clovelly was one of the first elle pot experiments with Walters. It really hurt the sales of that plant. I think a lot of gardeners and nurseries were discouraged with Clovelly. Unfortunately many people think it’s a poor grower and it's really not.

Jim, H. "Red Dog" & H. "The Razor's Edge" are pretty much vase shaped also.

Bare legs it has. The mature plant holds it's leaves pretty horizontal with just the curly tips cascading down a bit.

Mildred was such a gem! I always enjoyed talking to her at conventions. No one could top her stories! And what a collection of plants she left to us all. She will be missed.
