I think around 18 is what I am looking for, but making I am getting picky. As for question jgh, I have an american colonial house and have a row of yews to...

Great suggestions all. Looks like I have a bit of research to do and then a tough choice to make, but then again, I can't really go wrong, right!

Re: Looking for a good border Hosta - Suggestions?
I considered Patriot, but am afraid it will get too big for what I want. I almost bought Minuteman at Lowes, . . . luckily I got to this Board before doing that and now am hesitant to ever buy a hosta from a big box store again (virus X). There is some direct morning sun. I will look into Lemon Fros...

Re: Question Re: Berry Family of Nurseries
Thanks for your reply Chris. I went back out to the nursery and the hostas are from Berry Family of Nurseries, originating out of Tehlequah, Oklahoma and Grand Haven, Michigan. The containers from Grand Haven do say Zelenka Nursery, which must be owned by or part of Berry Family of Nurseries. Anyhow...

Question Re: Berry Family of Nurseries
A local nursery where I live sells hostas from Berry Family of Nurseries. It appears they come from Michigan, which I assume means Zelenka Nursery. Does anyone know whether this Nursery currently has any problems with HVX. I read an old (2005 ish) article from Chris on this site (I think) which ment...
