Well Pretty Peggy's sport has returned. Last eye to open up and it is still coloring up. Seems like this is the year for sports. I see a few more of them popping up around my garden.

I looked it up in the hosta library and it says PP has no sports or seedlings. Well I am happy to say she has a very healthy sport. It started last year and has settled down into a very nice looking hosta. So far only one eye but huge and healthy. I will have to post pics tomorrow after work.

I was wondering if anybody was interested in seeds this year. My spilt Milk is loaded. They haven't ripened yet but so far they look pretty good. I had fun this year with starting a few Swoosh seedlings. I got 2 growing well. One is streaked and one light green. Hostas are so fun to grow. lol

This is mine. Havent had it for very long. When I got it I think it did have little tails. Now its mostly wavey

The only one I have is Striptease. 3 large clumps of them in different areas of the garden. All are doing great and I don't have very good soil either. Doesn't seem to mind my pine tree either.

My package is sent and on its way out west somewhere. Bet you can guess who is getting it. LOL
Receipt says expected delivery is the 23rd. Hope it gets there sooner than that.

At least I have a streaked seedling from Swoosh to play with. Its only 2 leaves so far. Its not happy with the cool weather we have been having.

Well my streaked Candy Dish didn't make it through the winter.

I just came in from collecting 3 pods of Allegan Fog. Lots of Swoosh and waiting for Savanah Supreme to ripen. Also have another streaky that set 4 or 5 nice big pods. Wish I knew what it was. Anybody interested in a few seeds?

Mine got thrown on the burn pile. Looked suspicious last year and didn't look any better this year. So better safe than sorry. Its gone.

Mine is doing better. I put it in a large washtub with a few other mini hosta. Even forgot to bring it into the basement for winter. And you all know how nasty this winter was. Will have to go out and get a pic of it sometime inbetween canning spaghetti sauce. lol So it might take a few days. :wink:

So what do seeds from Allegan Fog turn out? Do you get any streaky babys?
