Re: What is it??
No, PUDC is one I know I don't have. The 'don't haves' are easier than the 'do haves'.

Re: What is it??
I believe you are correct after looking at the Hosta Library pic. I don't have this listed in my book that stops at '08 but it may be on my 'bed' list. I'll check it out. Thanks! It really is pretty this year!

What is it??
Hi everyone, Haven't been on the forum for quite some time as things happen for better or worse. During that time, I've lost ever so many name tags to my hostas (pencil....always use pencil!) or they've faded or I've moved them and don't remember where and I guess as things go, I can handle that. Ma...

Notice anything different?
My senior cat, Gassie, was put to rest about two weeks ago. I was in search of just the right hosta to plant where I buried her. I came across this unusual Eternal Flame at the local nursery and purchased it immediately, knowing that it was perfect for my unusual cat. Of course they all looked at me...

Re: Daily Hosta - 'Marilyn Monroe' - Add your pics
I would post a picture of my Marilyn Monroe, but she evidently doesn't like where I have her and after a wonderful spring display, melted completely away. All I see right now is ummmm.. remnents? Might have to rethink her place in the garden...lol

Re: a hosta for my kitty girl
I did plant a Guardian Angel division over her and also an Eternal Flame, too. I can't believe how much I still miss her yet. I have 2 new shelter cats with me now and they help fill up the void, but she was totally unique!

Delphiniums
How come delphiniums are so dang hard to find??? You'd think such a standard in the garden would be more readily available, but I haven't been able to find the dark blue/purple ones I love!

Re: Need Groundcover meeting this description:
gold moneywort is a very low growing groundcover, takes sun, shade, heat, foot traffic. Of course there is a downside also. It's very vigorous! Meaning you will have to keep an eye on it to keep it where you want it. I use it a lot because I absolutely love spring color.

Re: vigerous hosta
Right on top of my list is Sagae. It blows out of the ground every year and multiplies rapidly. Another one that surprised the heck out of me this year was Ginsu Knife. It exploded this year with growth. Maybe it was finally it's leap year!

Re: Stargate
I have Stargate in my beds and have only had it for 2 years now, but it's grown very fast. Easily tripled from when it arrived. And yes, it has very long legs! It's in several hours of sun and just sending out its scapes so should be blooming soon. Don't have a pic from this year, but later I will g...

That's one hosta you will never regret! It's just incredible and I have 2 of them. My biggest is just outside my front door to be my Guardian Angel!
