Maybe a host plant that came with one of the Hostas. I can confirm they do not transplant I have tried several ...

Common but Pretty
Prickly but the blooms look like a peony. The red one I am experimenting to see if it is hardy. It did pretty good last winter but we did not have our usual winter. I want to develop a cactus area in my northern climate. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/marquest/th_cactusbloom.jpg http://img.p...

caliloo, that is a beauty. I have the same problem of dead roses after the winter. I have managed to keep about 3 alive for a couple of year. I love the tea roses so I know I am into the wrong type of roses for my climate so I use them basically as annuals also. Do you have a good source that sell t...

Iris for Neighbors
I do not know the names. I did a trade last year to cover a hillside that I cannot see unless I walk to the edge of the property. It faces a good part of the neighbors back property. Soo I am giving them a good view. :D I am starting to think I may want to start a new passion for my viewing enjoymen...

Mine grows wonderful outside in the summer but they would die in the winter. I finally kept one alive last year by keeping it in the bathroom. The windows are frosted but it was enough light and the humidity of the shower gave it what it needed to stay alive and it grew very good in that environment...

I usually bring in 30 pots or more. They are the tropical plants that I grow every year. Brug, Cannas, Bananas, EE. I have created what I refer to as my Tikki Tacky room in the basement. That has grass wall covering and tropical furniture pictures and some latice. Then there are all the tender succu...
