The "early to rise" thing makes sense but isn't always the case. Francee was my last to show up this spring and is maybe my strongest hosta, taking more sun that any other I have without a burn mark on it. It gets more full and prettier each year. Just a thought.

bk.....I have had Undulata Albomarinata for 3 years and also saw a major decline in it last year, very much like what you described. It was big and full and strong last spring and then slowly crapped out as the season progressed to where there was little left of it by the fall. I think Diana is spot...

Don...my Blue Angel is bright green so it all evens out I guess. :bd: bk.....your Stained Glass already has some incredible color! I have two Francees, both have been extremely slow to get started. I have been out of town for a few days, but when I left only one leaf had opened, and it is deformed.

First year plant from Hallson in 2014. I believe it had 3 eyes. This year it has 9. Here is last year's picture along with what I found a couple of months ago when I removed it from the pot.

Chris.....when do you anticipate being able to ship?

One thing for sure, once they get started it doesn't take long! Do you have a picture of Satisfaction later on in the year? I'd like to see how the color compares to mine in the Southern heat.
