Chris,we also deal with live things Dogs and it is alot different than selling stoves and refrigerators that are new and shinny and stay that way ,living things are different day to day.

We have several varieties and they thrive in our zone 5 dry shade with ocassional watering.perhaps they prosper better in ground.

Do the siberians want to be real high like other Iris?Afriend gave me a large clump, can they be split now or should I wait until after they blosoom?

Mine are in full bloom and the dainty blue flowers are physicadelic one of my very favorite plants,even when the blooms are gone the folliage is stunning.

Afew years back 3or4 I put in a half dozen forget the cultivar but they were a huge disapointment came up every year never blosomed and were very small and went by quickly.This winter when I thought of them ,I thought never again.Well when spring broke they shot out of the ground and had multiplied ...
Iris ?
Found a plant coming up in the garden,the foliage looks like Iris but the blades are half white and half geen is there such an Iris? Can't do pictures sorry.

Last summer I put in a plant that was stressed from shipping and in a short while it shriveled up and was gone but it is back in all its glory another surprise,so pleased.

Stitch in time
After putting in my tiny plant late last summer I was resigned that it would winter kill but it appears to have made it I think I see an eye poking thru.Seems to work that way when I expect the worst things are ok ,when I am confident I lose them.

Actually it is loaded with buds and looks promising but seems I remember it being very late last year,but this year has been so mildI thought it would be more seasonal as they claim the bloom in winter.Not here in N.H.

Has anyone had experience with this vine I hear the Hummers love it .I have been trying to find some actually I may have bought it and forgot where as I keep my records in my head,which is worn out.

Well I keep putting kennel compost under the tree then added a bunch of top soil from the store put in a Hydranger vine ,Euonomus,and Vinca.Just starting but it will have to be an improvement.Chris will love my spelling!

These two plants are in the same area in my rear garden facing east with just morning sun.They have never thrived this will be be their third year perhaps they will be more mature?

Well spring is here at my Hallson Ligularia are popping up ,how glad I am to have put them in last fall.
