If anyone wants any, I have lots of them here. I had read that the birds like the berries, so I let them grow a couple years & now I have tooooo many, so I've been pulling or digging them up as I find them. Never did see the birds eating them.

I'll update my list after I've gone thru my gardens & mark the ones that didn't make it. It'll be a few days before I get to it, but will try to get it done within the next week. With lower back problems, I can only do so much in a day. I usually try to get anything I'm going to do, done in the morn...

Some of them are big & fat, about the size of my thumb & others about the size of my little finger. Being a raised bed, It probably wouldn't be hard to dig down & get most all of their roots. Where they are at, it's hard to see when they are big enough to eat & therefore get too big before I see the...

Here is a list of the yellow with green margins in my garden, I first thought of September Sun, then Lunar Orbit, Janet, Hoosier Harmony, Journey's End, Alice in Wonderland & of course as some have mentioned above, Gold Standard.

Transplanting Asparagus

I have a raised area out front that gets full sun & it has Yucca, 2 rose bushes, a verigated smaller bush (don't know the name of it), a few daylillies & flowers, ornamental grass & asparagus has decided to grow there. At first there was only a couple, but now there must be a dozen plants. I'd like ...

Hi Shelly, I'm glad that everything arrived safely. I did have that box stuffed full. Sure glad you didn't have any of them... I really search thru my hosta beds trying to find plants that I thought you might not have. I went to your journal to see what you did have, even though it hadn't been updat...

S & S hasn't done that great in my garden, but one of it's offsprings (I've been told it is anyway) is getting huge... Bottom Line. It has a glossy surface & has really filled out the last couple years, even with the neglect from being gone for 2 months last year.

I dug the hosta & companion plants for my secret trader this morning & delivered them to the Post Office for shipment. They went priority mail with a tracking/confirmation number... they are headed West.... but can't tell.... that would ruin part of the surprise..... but keep a look out for the post...

I have lots of Royal Standard here & 4 Plantagenia. It is my understanding that Royal Standard is in the Plantagenia family. It has frangrant, white blooms, but they are not as large a bloom as Plantagenia.

Need to replace H. Tattoo!

Among several of my hosta that I lost between last years droughts & bad winter, I lost my Tattoo & it was one of my favorites & was wondering if anyone here had one that they would be willing to trade me? I would really like to replace this one. I lost quite a few others & as I go thru my hosta beds...

I've been fighting the VC ever since we moved here over 10 years ago. I'll think I have it eradicated and then I spot some. Like others have said, try to get it out while it's young. It's one of those weeks that keep coming back. I read in a book that VC can kill a tree. We have a neighbor about 3/4...

I'm going to be in Arkansas the first 3 weeks of June. Sure hope I can get back home in time to attend also. It will be good to see Trudy again (last saw her at a gathering in Davenport when we were still at the other forum) & meet some of the others who post here also.

Did she shrink or is she just not filled out completely? I went to Alaska last year; left June 30th & returned Sept. 9th, so the only water my plants got is what mother nature rained down. some of my hosta that were huge the year before looked like they had shrunk. I know that Antioch, Fragrant Bouq...
