Let us know what you decide. If you have had enough, you could give the plants to a neighbor, or ask if they want to buy the leftovers.

Bluish, Bluey, BLuet (maybe not), Blue-eyes? Or my friend Val's suggestion: Babe for Paul Bunyon's blue ox. Paul Bunyan went out walking in the woods one day during that Winter of the Blue Snow. He was knee-deep in blue snow when he heard a funny sound between a bleat and a snort. Looking down, he s...

You know how dogs are: Wilma wouldn't want you to be unhappy. I also have to think that she would be happy you have a new puppy in the house and honored you named Betty after her. My suggestion: Lose the guilt and enjoy the new little girl!!!

Re: A walk around the yard this morning
In the foreground of the third pic and in the fourth pic there is a three leafleted plant that I know isn't poison ivy and looks way too large to be trillium. That is it? I have to agree that your most prized should be named Most Prized. Gorgeous as are your Continental Divide and your Tokudama X Be...

I wonder if double sided sticky tape on top of the arbor would convince the birds to land elsewhere? It keeps the kitties off my counters! Of course, then you might have thistle growing in even worse spots...durned stuff will grow AnYWheRe.

Re: Tell or dont tell?
For those of you who have made even the slightest effort, I personally thank you. I couldn't tell an infected plant from an elephant, so any effort made toward healthy plants is a plus for me. Still, I completely understand when you choose to say nothing. Each of us can see from the experiences list...

It is only a weed if it is growing where you don't want it. Of course, if it spreads to where you don't want it, then it will become a weed anyway.

Re: Banana Pepper in Container?
I had no idea. Thank you Chris!!! Excellent information which explains why the last couple years I have only been getting one pepper per plant while growing them in a hot microclime. Previously I grew them in the back yard which is more shady and I had better results.

You did what was best in an awful situation and yes, that doesn't help you at all. In time, you will remember Wilma and smile, but it does take...
