I thought this wasn't supposed to happen...

In May I moved my Mom (94) home and I moved w/ her. Bailey seemed OK as she was very familiar w/ Mom's house. But now, every time I have to leave the house, and she is put in her cage (which she loves and goes in and out of all the time at will during the day) she urinates in the cage, on her beddin...

Did the second 9"er as a re-heat tonight, and it was just as gppd as the first night....didn't have any "reheated" taste or texture to it....am definitely sending this one around to my kids that cook. Very easy. Very yum. (methinks needs more cheese---of any variety)

I'm a huge Prego fan...used to spend all afternoon making my sauce from scratch, then one time in a yank, I used the Prego and my kids liked it better! So now I use that as a base and get creative with the add-ins....like crushed fresh 'maters, fresh portobellas, lotsa onions, green peppers, etc. No...

I tried a few of the "impossible pies" and never had much success...but I tried this tonight, and it was really really good. I didn't have shredded cheddar but I had shredded monteray jack, and that worked well. Next time I think I'll just add some extra cheese, maybe some on top. But there will be ...

Gosh, it seems like this has been a week of loss for Hallson critters....Joanna, I am glad you have others to love that love you right back. And it should be a comfort that you know you gave OP lots of great time that he wouldn't have had without you.

Take care.

John and Joy~

So sorry that you had to lose your buddy, but it sure sounds like he was ready. Problem is that we never are ready....

Hope that soon all the happiest memories are the only ones that remain in your hearts.

Here's a canine salute to Pooper Dawg!

Pat~ If Taffy has spent the day facing the wall, he is probably past the point of any pain or discomfort. Perhaps he will sleep away on his own, in his home where he is loved. So sad to go through this....this brings back memories...from experience I can tell you it will actually be easier when it i...

LG~ For sure let us know about Ginger's surgery Friday....I think Bailey has one of those fatty tumors, and it scares me. I don't have the $$$ for any surgery right now. If it's just a fatty tumor, can it stay put for a while???? Am afraid to take her to the vet and have her tell me Bailey needs sur...

Have barely been able to drop in at Hallson's....I'am so sorry to read tonight about Taffy. When Banks died it happened so fast, I didn't have too much time to think before he was gone. Your situation must be so much harder.

I will be thinking of you and your Taffy. Keep us posted.

You are absolutley right. SAR needs to be the best of the best. Hope for that reason, you can eventually see your way clear to being involved again.

Sad testimony when your ethics and integrity work against you.

Lionitus~ I remember the kind words your sent my way when Banks died....I am so sorry you lost your buddy. I still see Banks as he was the morning he was forever asleep in Bailey's cage. I was expecting it, but it was still a heartbreaker. I hope the edge of your sadness has softened a bit by now, a...

Two Hefty bags??? Ohmygoodness, that's a lot of buttons! Assuming you won't be using all of those for your own crafts, you might think of donating some to the art departments of elementary and middle schools in your area....Art and early el teachers are always looking for things like this. Been ther...
