Mine really bloomed quite well this year and the smell was wonderful. It really is an eye catcher at a distant. I have mine in some sun on the west side of a huge oak tree and has not burned so must like where it is.
Everyone should have one just to stop and smell the hosta flowers.

Hey I like the GREEN ONES TOO  Lancifolia was my first hosta and I have lots of it around. It's even putting up a pretty good fight with the 100year old maple tree I have it under. Chris, so glad to hear your comments on Lullabye as it was new for me this year and is pretty small after all the ...

Seems strange but I have about 200 hostas growing just wonderful under my oak tree. Marlys and Connie were here and couldn't believe how big my Guardian Angel and Thundebolt were. Now my maple trees are another story. The hostas under that tree seemed to be getting smaller all the time and I need to...

Thunderboldt & Guardian Angel
Thought I would share a couple of pictures I took the other night as I was pulling weeds and sweating in this humid weather we have been having. Hope you like them.

Hank, so glad that you and Betty are ok. Those pictures are just terrible. DH & I were in Rochester for the weekend and sure glad we weren't in the wrong place at the wrong time. The fair grounds was pretty flooded with 10.5 inches of rain. Came home to Iowa in rain and had 2 inches last night near ...

I have used Liquid Fence for Rabbits, Dogs and Cats. I think that is what it says. Not the one for deer, but I sometimes use both when I see deer tracks in the hosta bed. Anyway, I use a root growth stimulator when I plant and I think coons like the smell of it and dig my new plants up. When I spray...

Cheryl(Maidofshade) so glad your package arrived safely. I am glad that they weren't squished too much either. I hope it cools off a little so I can enjoy planting things. This heat takes allot of the fun out of everything outside. I had to at least pick one from your wish list and praying hands is ...

I got my box :D Just came upstairs from having a tea break in the break work at work and found the box on my chair. Lea/Twoblackdogs did a fantastic job. I love them all. She did her homework. Such different variaties then I already have. Will really go well to add more color to my new bed. I got: S...

My secret trader should also be very careful when opening the triangular priority mail box. Please cut along the length of the box, but not too deep as it is jammed packed in paper, paper and other nicer things. I was getting it ready at work on break and lunch hour and everyone just wondered what I...
