It still hurts the back when doing too much. But its getting better each day. I've also begun a workout f...

Hi Justme, I guess I'm one of the many. Hubby and I are doing Adkins together ... well a modified Adkins. :D I work at a hospital Lab and in our bathroom we have one of the old hospital scales (like your doctor has). Several years ago, one the more health concious peope in the lab decided to put a s...

A winter wonderland Ed. I love snow, but sorry to say that we go through most of the winter without snow cover. It snows, then a couple of days later its gone. We are suppose to get 4 to 8 inches tonight, which means we will get 4. I have my bird feeders out and hubby suggested I get a squirr...

I didn't know it had such a nice smell. Isn't this one easy to grow from seed? I know it is considered a bit invasive in some states. Now with that said, I'd love to grow one. It is so beautiful.

My new Aster - (Michaelmas Daisy)

Aster (Michaelmas Daisy) 'Benary's Composition' I bought this one early spring, hoping to find something taller than my sedums and shorter than my clematis. Oh how I do like it. Sure wish I had bought seeds though and gotten it for much cheaper that way. I still have a few purple blooms on my 'polis...

Jane, great to have one rebloom this late isn't it!

I had Innocent Blush bloom yesterday, but the flower was somewhat stilted. But on Sept. 13th it was a beautiful rebloom.

I also had a yellow, Darling Clementine rebloom this Sept.

Paul and Helen, so glad you survived the tornado, sorry to hear of all the tree damage though.

I live downriver from Detroit, so no we didn't have any damage to speak of.

Too funny, I was just out yesterday prunning my Walker's Low for the 3rd time.
It is planted right next to my catnip, so talk about trying to keep that area of the garden in check ...
My cats love that area of the garden ... so do a couple neighborhood cats. :)

Joan, I love my Centerfold Lily, so unusual. :o

I think that Shocking has the most intense fragrance of all my lilies. :D

And my Tom Pounce died without ever blooming. :(

I think Honey Bee is pretty cute and I love the name. :P
