Have it, but no picture. Leaves are somewhat glossy. Sets very few pods and those that do set are short and stubby.

The "water platters" are Victoria water lilies and you are correct, Glo...they are native to South America.

We've only had a dusting here, so far. Last year at this time we had a couple inches...and it just kept piling up until March! Everyone around here is hoping for an easier winter than we had last year.
I can deal with it until the new year, but I'm with you, Chris...January & February are tough!

Let them dry slightly between waterings and give them as much light as you can. They aren't going to grow as much as they do during the summer, so they need to be drier. They may even go dormant. If so, water them even less.
