SO frustrating

I have been cleaning my flower beds...boy this working gets in the way of my play time...anyway, I can't believe that I lost 16 hostas this year...has anyone else lost this many through the winter??? is this the norm?? I have maybe lost 1 or 2 before, but NEVER this many :cry:

I know when I was having trouble with blurry pictures, I thought I had to get close to the plant to get a good shot...now I stand a bit further away and zoom in...BUT also use the macro setting..

Has anyone attempted to make stepping stones or bird baths with concrete moulded over a rhubarb leaf????

I just saw this in the Canadian House Homes gardening life and would love to give it a try.

This is my first year that I am going to try and save herbs to use throughout the winter, what is the best way of preserving herbs?? Right now I am trying the sun dry method...no idea if it is going to work or what the flavour will be, but it seemed the easiest. What are other methods that I should ...
