Re: My garden via motorcycle club

Here's my new rocks. I drove past them for a year and reported, "someday those rocks will be mine". Sure enough...the guy who owned the rocks was willing to sell'm. I didn't have a plan for how to have them moved. It was super expen$ive. They are in my front yard and a pond must get dug and lined, ...

Re: move over baby butter, Meet Jillie

Jillie now weighs #40. She can still get out of my confinement but we rigged our PVC fence with cable ties and coated chicken wire to prevent her from going "visiting" without her handler. Lucky for us we live on a dead end, dirt road with only one neighbor on our street. The photo of Jillie with o...

Re: baby butter

It's hard to believe that Scutter is already three and a half years old. My baby has grown up. He's already recieved his "50" visit therapy dog recognition title. Tomorrow, he'll attend a funeral for a policeman, killed in the line of duty. You can believe this dog comforts the hurting. The photo o...

Re: My garden via motorcycle club

Thanks for all the nice comments. We hosted a ride on a Wed night so with the days getting shorter, we had dusk quick. The red thang is a bell tower that Andy found in WI. We had it delivered for $50. No storage, just decoration. It is a conversation piece though. The garden art is usually a garage...

My garden via motorcycle club

Hi everyone: I have a NEW hard drive on my puter and have lost many photos. Recently my motorcycle club road to our yard. I always find in amusing what folks find to photograph. Our webmaster was on the ride and took many photos of the events on Wed evening. First few photos are of Andy with the ma...

Re: So where are the convention photos?

Mary Schwartzbauer, Kim Larsen and Connie Linder. Folks who you'll see in MN next year. Proof that men will stop at a rest stop to look at a map. Does that mean the GPS doesn't work? Is that an example that real men stop for directions? That's Andy with his friend from the other side of the pond, J...

That's the trough in our Mini Cooper trunk. Kim's ribbon and leaf that took a head table award and the youngest attendee, Lydia Lorene. Ross's best hybrid. Later, Love, Lisa

Ham Lake or Bust

I had to visit again. Nancy's got allot of cute garden accents. I loved her Rex Begoinia collection and will ask for leaf cutting before winter. We took a road trip to a nursery where I bought a trough full of succulants and a nice lunch too. We hit a couple gargage sales too. Life is good. Later, ...

I wish I would have won this quilt. That's me and JGH's bride, Sheila. Jim has a new garden goo gah. I'm off the hook for the french braid I owed him from previous auction wins. During newcomer's meeting....I twisted his ponytail into a braid. It was fun hanging with'm. I'm upset with my GPS. It br...

Re: Problem with neighbor's doberman

Hi Andi: Too bad Washington is not closer to MN. I'd have a WONDERFUL home for that Dobie. My hosta partner in crime bought there current home so their two dobies would have a bigger yard. They both had heart trouble and died fairly young. I've been after Kim & Jim to get another pooch and I'd dog ...

RATS!....My calendar says I'm working the AHS accredited MN hosta society leaf show at the Bachman's Heritage room that day. I'm missing our board meeting to assess some therapy dogs later that afternoon. I was in Iowa on Sat. I went to Norwalk....you can guess why. Kimmy and I left at 9a (after a ...

Re: move over baby butter, Meet Jillie

It's hard to believe that we've had Jillie a month already. She's making progress!. We went to our first off leash dog park yesterday. She held her own even though she wanted me to pick her up. I'm not interfering with pack order...NOT me! She's weighing in at #17 pounds. She's able to do the stair...

Early bird pricing end$ today

Just a friendly reminder to get that check in the mail TODAY or pay the late fee for nationals. I got it in the mail today cuz I'm NOT paying the extra late fee money. NOW, I gotta book a room. I signed up for the optional day too!. I indicated that I'd clerk the leaf show and compete in the artist...

Action shot is where my 73 pound Golden Retriever is dominating my #10 power puppy, Jillie. She's doing super on potty training. She met a couple other small dogs about her size...but not for long. She loves to eat and will grow quickly past that poodle and shitzu. I was able to size down a few mor...

Re: It always Nice to Clean Out The Greenhouse.

Mine's full of gazing balls. I guess I can get busy dragging them out of there. It hasn't been that warm to germinate in the greenhouse but I did start a tray of bird house gourds and nastursiums. Anybody else got spring fever? Only thing blooming here is the pussy willows.

Welcome, Gardenitis! All the way from Canada

Hello from MN: Your handle is fun. It means you have inflammation of the garden. That's a good way to swell. I know you're dormant like me but SOON, we'll play in the dirt. What kind of Dog do you have? They make good company don't they. Mine never complains. It's no mistake that women's best frien...
