Here's a new batch for today. Hoping for another nice day here. I have one more hosta bed to clean up & then I'll be ready for the 2-3 days of rain that are forecast.

- Sweet Home Chicago doesn't get much light - it's in the same area as Olive Bailey Langdon - so the centers always stay green.

- I've always liked Sunshine Glory's wide margins at the back of the leaf - they really make it stand out.

- For some reason when I see Revolution, I think of the chorus of Jefferson Airplane's 'Volunteers' and not The Beatles' 'Revolution'. I'm not sure why though....

- This is actually Hosta rhodefolia - but it was sold to me as Hosta helenoides albopicta - for the full explanation you can read Mark Zilis explanation of the confusion in "The Hosta Handbook".

This is a Cannon PowerShot A10 that I got in 2003. And it was on close-out so it was obsolete even then.

And when I use the Macro again, I'll have to read the chapter over cuz I don't remember a thing about using it now.

Thanks, Cheryl & Planwerk & OC again.
Well I stepped outside after lunch & decided it was too gray & cold & windy to entice me out any farther. I'm glad I stayed inside cuz about 45 minutes later the faucet turned on at full blast for about a minute & then turned back almost off again & rained for another 20-30 min. I would have been soaked and in a worse humor than I already was.

Great pics, Renaldo. I read the 'explanation' in the Hosta Handbook and I think I'm more confused than ever.
I'm really, really, really impressed that you are down to the end of your cleanup. I haven't started. Not a thing...nada, zip, zilch. Don't even have the ornamental grasses burned yet. Between the weather and very poor timing with a back injury, I'm starting the season waaaay behind...

Sorry to hear about your back injury. Hope you're feeling better soon!!
My cleanup is on hold for now - but all that's left to do is the west holding bed that nothing ever gets done in anyway.
LOL So I guess there's no rush.
It rained off & on thru the nite too I guess w/thunder & lightning. I got my info from Sara cuz I was out fast last nite, but there was still a little thunder & rain when I woke up this morning. Rain stopped here not long after I got up.
