Great Job! I am so envious!!! Look at all that space. I am sure you will fill it up in no time. It looks like you got a good start with some great plants!

I will have to look for Elizabeth, my youngest daughters name is Elizabeth as well (she is 14) She went with me to Hallsons on Mothers Day. She would be thrilled to know that there is a Hosta with her name.

Good Luck with your garden, keep up the good work.
Who needs shoes when you can have another Hosta???

thanks everyone, we rented the tractor for the weekend , my husband would love to own one but those are too much $ for us to buy one,it is on our wish list if we win the lottery hehehehe, and beside we get a good deal on the rental for 3 days so thats the good thing.

yes my daugther Elizabeth loves to ride that tractor and she loves to help out , their wore many worms to save from daddy and mommy shovel over the weekend   (hope she still helps out when she gets 15   ) i was an outdoors /nature kid , always loved to do things outside with nature and animals so i am hoping she will too ...hey gotta have someone care for all those plants the day i am not able or there anymore

it was actually a joke my husband said to me that got me on the tractor , it was 2 pm i had been racking horse manure and soil since 9 am and i couldnt feel my hands anymore lol so my husband said i'll do it he said go get the soil and laughed well i sat on the tractor and sad ok and left with it  took 2 min to figure out how that thing works , was fun too....we are very happy with our work and the way it looks , we didnt think we could do it in just the weekend just being the 2 of us.

as for hosta Elizabeth anyone as a picture of it as a mature plant , the hosta library pic is not really a good reference and would like to see and know how big that one gets ...

i'll post more pic when the rest of the hostas come in.

Color me impressed! And envious -- you have a boatload of space to fill. (Lucky you  ) I hope you do continue to post pics over this season....we all want to watch your garden unfold. And I thank you for reminding me about Northern Grown Perennials, too! I ordered daylilies from Rod maybe four years ago; the plants were really fine. I see I need to look at his hosta offerings as well.

Thumbs up on your work! :)
