I feel like the old woman who lives in a shoe....

I'm not sure I could cram another division in any of these pots... They are all split off and potted in case we end up moving. THis way I can "grab and go" at the last minute!

quite a collection... I'd keep them out of sight - pretty tempting to grab-n-go for any hosta fan!

Squidlips??!! :o What a  name!! Where'd you get that one?? I bought Lizard Lick recently - mostly cuz I loved the name.

And your Savannah Supreme is gorgeous!! 8-) I've got one nicely streaked division on mine this year. The rest are all margined with maybe a little streaking on some leaves.

I agree with Jim, Alexa. I could provide you some more space by removing a couple from each pot that I don't have.

Better post a lookout tonite for 'critters' in vole suits. I can think of at least one potential vole who lives pretty close to you.

Hee hee hee!!!!!

Reldon, Squidlips is one of my seedlings that is (as of yet) unregistered. It is really curly on the leaves and seems to be a great grower. It was one eye last year and I think it is 4 eyes now.

Glad you like the name... my kids named it!

That Savannah Supreme is one of the first hostas I ever bought. I got it as part of a "collection" on ebay and it has done very nicely for me. It hasn't really shown any signs of stabilizing to the edged version YET! Of course, now that I posted it... it will probably revert completely next year

Now I remember you showing us Squidlips last year. It's a neat little seedling. 8-) Tell the kids it's a great name!!

I'm debating whether to divide off the one streaked division on my SS. I've heard from several people [Linda P maybe :-? ] that it can be a sulker if it gets whacked into though... Probly depends more on how much ambition I have this summer.

Alexa,

Where did you say you live? I feel the need for a grab and go Hosta shopping

Amazing Hosta as usual! What's your secret?

Thank your for taking the time to post pictures, it gives me a lot to look forward to, I really enjoy looking at the varieties I have never seen before!

I hope "Squidlips" turns out to be all you hope it will be.

I love your "Savanna Supreme" I think that will go on my top 5 must have list!

What is the name of the plant in the second picture behind "Ooh La La"? I can't quite make out the first part of the name, I can read the "Edger" portion though. That one is going of my must have list as well, I really like the colors.

Thanks again for the photos, keep up the good work!

Mari - I believe that's Radiant Edger. Coloring is right for that one.

Reldon... my SS is gorgeous, but then large parts of it stabilize and I have to chop them out... as long as I leave the streaked part in its original home with the least possible disruption of its part of the crown/root ball, it seems to handle the chopping well.

and the stabilized plants seem to settle in pretty well for me as well - though I continue to label them "stabilized Savannah Supreme" rather than just Savannah...

Reldon - you are correct. That is Radiant Edger. It is the first hosta I got in my very first hosta swap so it will absolutely be going with me!

Since I just dug this section of SS up - I guess I really should antipate itrevertins if it doesn't like to have its roots disturbed. I will certainly ket you all know how it works out.....

Thanks for the nice comments!

Good job getting all those divisions in there so snug. They all look very happy and ready to travel!

How handy....how efficient....how easy to grab & go. I know where she lives... can be there & back in, oh, maybe 10 minutes or so, maybe 12 minutes if I want to pack the car carefully. Heh heh heh....
