LOL - Slugs & Humans..

Post by twoblackdogs »

A laugh out loud moment from one of my kids that made me crack up:

My younger son, a budding 9 year old biologist, has a subscription to National Geographic kids magazine. This month there's a page of 7 wacky facts about science.

Son #2 points out that fact #2 is that humans and slugs share more than half their genes. Then he says "Mom, one of those genes must be the gene about liking hosta's"!

that kid must share less genes with the slimy creatures than most, cause he is certainly no slug in the clever department!

I have to wonder if he would have said "gross" if he were a girl instead of a boy?
