There was a little interest in a summer trade, so we'll try it. This will be a quick turnaround. Thanks to Steg for the format of the email (from the spring trade!)

To sign-up, send me a PM with the subject “Secret Trade” by Wednesday, August 11th containing the following:

Name
Address
Hallson’s Nickname

I will PM the name of your secret tradee by Thursday, August 12th.

Packages must be mailed out no later than Friday, August 20th.

The trade is for 1 named Hosta. You are welcome to send more and/or other perennials. Don’t forget to label the hosta too.

All secret trades must be sent with a Delivery Confirmation Number, or Tracking Number. Once your package is sent please e-mail me with your DC number or tracking number. This will be used to track the package if there is any problem with delivery.

Don’t forget to update your lists from your recent purchases or trades. Remember to have fun!!

Canadian Traders welcome too!!

All new to the hosta addiction are welcome too. It's really fun. If you do an advanced search for "secret trade" you can see all the fun from the past.

Do people know about this secret trade? It is pretty quiet - maybe everyone's hostas aren't looking the best this time of year. Just curious to know if anyone has signed up

But I Should Have Probably Posted Here Also.
I Think Everyone's Hostas are Looking a Little Tired with this Very Hot Summer.
We Have Not had 1 Drop of Rain Since the Beginning of June.
But as Usual...Everytime I Water...Out Comes the Slug and Snail Brigade.

I'll sign up... I have quite a few that I can trade that don't look too burnt up. Some of them are really getting burnt from the heat & they get very little sun.

Alright! I was a bit slow in getting the names out today.....darn life getting in the way of gardening! All of the emails went out tonight.

The summer trade is 10 strong, 8 from the U.S. and 2 from Canada. Thanks to all that are participating. Please update your lists (I know that I like to try and send one my trader doesn't have.

I guess the Canadian participants won't be all that surprised by whom their trader turns out to be!

Mine went out yesterday at lunch! Hopefully my "secret" tradee enjoys her loot too.. Everybody try to post what you recieved. I'm just as excited to see what everyone else gets. Just like Christmas!
