Kht,

Congrats!

Our high temp was 1 above today, it is currently 5 below. We have a ways to go before we catch up to you.

Hope you show us more photos as they emerge,

Oh wow, they're coming up early, aren't they? I see you're in the Pacific Northwest. Hope the weather stays friendly for them! Looking good!

Thank you both, yes they are a month early and this am we saw frost on the roof tops so they may need protection before the last
date of frost. We have had a high pressure off the coast that have kept up almost 15 degrees warmer. I have seen this only once
prior in the early 1990s when we had all the plants out in mid March. I have blankets ready just in case we dip to the lower 30s but know
that these are really hardy. Last year we had a drought and I had to cut back so many due to they were fried and they came back
when the weather cooled down, matter of fact the plants did better than I did.

kHT,
You really know how to make a grown man cry. I think our high today will be 18. There's at least 18" of snow on all my beds. Envy, envy, envy!

So sorry harryshoe, but winter isn't over yet here. Got up yesterday to heavy frost on the roof tops but the sunshine warmed up everything fast. No sun today
as the rain came in and there is hope for more snow in the mountain ranges. There is a chill in the air this am.

I've been seeing the hostas emerge here, also. (I'm about 77 miles north of kHT) And the Helebores!

Hey Carol O, Great to see you. Nice plants!! Hope to warm up enough this weekend to kill the grass here and reseed.
I have been really busy in the yard, just the hosta bed out back to clean out and I can sit back and watch it all grow.
I notice today that the plum tree was in bloom! Hope all is well up there.

Another sign of Spring is the Hummingbirds have started their migration.

This is an old photo but if you click on the photo you will see a 2015 Hummingbird migration map website.

We need more signs of Spring,
