Hi Dirk,
Another great group of hostas!

I've had Elatior for about 3 years & all it's done is make about 2 or 3 leaves. I have it in this one bed that I have trouble with due to the lack of sun. None of the hostas do very well in it, except the ones on the end that get dappled sun, which is what makes me think it's too shady. The others lean north towards the closest sunny spot. And they do lean a lot! It's not super shady, so I'm still not sure what the problem is.

Emily Dickinson is one of my favorite hostas because it looks good almost all the time. It lasts about the longest of any of my hostas. Last year my neighbor cut back his bushes so that bed got a lot of afternoon sun & poor ED & the huge Sagae next to her got sunburned so bad. I felt so sorry for them. I convinced the neighbor to let the bushes grow back so hopefully they'll be OK this year.

I didn't know there was an Enterprise. Since I'm a Star Trek nut I'll have to get it!

Thanks for sharing.
Ellen

If someone smarter than me (Chris ya there?) is out there, you can delete these stupid posts if you can put them in order so #1 is on top.

Hi Ellen, H.Elatior needs a lot of sun, many water and food !!
