God (and Mother Nature) willing, I will be receiving an Atom Smasher this year!!!!!!!!!! Oh boy, oh boy, I can hardly wait... I have been lusting for this one since I first saw it! I have just the perfect spot for it - in front of the HUGE Komodo Dragon foster hosta, along with the green and yellow Atom Smasher seedlings I received last fall.

My wish list would would fill all available space here. Just amazes me how many I really do want, when I already have about 280 varieties!

The few that spring to mind first are:

Shadowfax (let me know how it does, ok, Minnow?)
Emerald Ruff Cut (LG!)
Warwick Comet
Gunther’s Prize
Anything mottled, misted or flecked (and HVX free)
A streaked hypoleuca - preferably blue

I will remember more as others post, so expect additions (hehe)!

Lots of good beautiful hostas on your wishlist Claudia

Wish I could add Little Hobber to my list

A streaked hypoleuca... think it ought to as easy to do as a blue Praying Hands

No, LG, you made no promise...do I get extra points for honesty? But, hey, now that you mention it...when it comes time to divide it, let’s talk...I might have something you would be interested in?

And that reminds me...how could I forget to list...

TIDEWATER!

So many folks have outbid me for that one, it’s like a tradition now!

Pia: I want one of those blue Praying Hands also - especially if we can have one 3’ tall and 8’ wide (hehe)!

I just got done placing my first order with Hallsons... oddly none of the plants I ordered were on my wish list

So here is what I have orderd so far.........

Hidden Cove
Unforgettable (this truly finishes my hosta alphabet, the only U I had last year was undulata)
Liberty

And the daylily Siloam David Kerchoff

And so it begins...... by resolution of not buying anything until the beds are complete is already out the window..........
