Pic of the Day--Garden Tour 19

Post by Hank Zumach »

Hi--Here is a shot of an area on the uphill side of the path that runs on the slope behind our home. In a previous posting I mentined that I have a 10-15 foot wide swath of mostly hosta seedlings planted along there to serve as a barrier to the forest undergrowth. The female gnome used to hang out in a bed in our south lawn but she apparently decided she needed a change of scenery.

Hank, I'm green with envy. (Green is a sign of spring approaching, isn't it?)

Hank
Your gardens are truly amazing. Since we are snowed in right now I have been showing your tour pics to my husband. We would love to see these in person some day!
Who knows maybe a roadtrip will be possible sometime. I just love your combinations and can't say enough about your beautiful views   Keep them coming!!

Cheryl--Well...we do offer visitors the option of carrying around a weeding tool. Does that count?

Well that would make me feel right at home!! :D I had to laugh when you said that you sit to relax and soon you are walking around pulling weeds or something...I think any garden large or small is always a work in progress isn't it

Peek-a-boo. :D She wanted to see how the rest of the hostas were doing. :P They're beautiful and I think she likes it there.
