Hey Kathleen, congrats to you, but I'm confused, doesn't the auction for that end on March 16? Just wondering. :P

First Look Auction

Post by thehostagourmet »

Paul the Auction ended at 10:00.00 EST tonight. The fact that the items all had different closing dates didn't mean anything.

Congratulations to Lucy Goose on winning my 'Midas Touch' chunk. Notice the choice of words.

My bid

Post by wzbt03 »

While my bid did not hold up when the auction closed in a flury, my offering did sell for $62 which should help out, so all is not lost.

Name that Hosta #2

It looks like Fifi (Danny) was 8/100 of a second too late to outbid me for that pretty yellow ventricosa seedling.

He did win Leafy's coolest seedling though. That's what probably distracted him.

Poor George?

Post by thehostagourmet »

Why? I won that Hosta. Fifi's bid was too late. It will be corrected. I have a neat name for it too.

UPDATE!!

I just looked at the unofficial results and I won it. (3 asterisks after the bid amount show that another bid came in too late.)

George is the winner and get's the pleasues of naming. :D :bd: . . I stink at naming plants and glad to let others do it for me..

Bill suggested to me that I name the streaker and when I looked at the picture the first thing that came to mind was my 2nd child Meadow. She's got blonde hair with sandy streaking and is the wild one. The plant has some Wild streaking in it so I thought Wild Child since Meadow came to mind when looking at the picture. Told ya i SU^% at naming

Congrats to all the winners and Thanks to those that donated also.
