Hank, what's the bright yellow Hosta in the second picture? Very nice bed. Hopefully it will recover.

George-That plant is Marilyn. Here are my comments from when I did it as my POTD, followed by a 2005 photo.

Hi All--Marilyn is a variety that I don't think can pass the 10 foot rule. It does provide a bright spot but then, so do a number of other more interesting varieties. I purchased Marilyn in 2000 and it grows in a spot that gets 2-3 hours of mid-day sun. Its measurements went 17x7, 22x11, 27x14, 36x13, and 36x15. Zilis' listing is 43x17. It has been attractive to slugs.
