Metalic Red

Post by leafmould »

This is one of my favorite dark flowering hybrids.
This unnamed seedling has flowers with a deep metalic red lustre. These blooms sparklle in the sunlight and is similar to the view through a bottle of candy apple red nail polish or car paint. The metalic flecks in this flower has been a strong trait inherited by most offspring.
Difficult to capture on a digi and lessened by shrinking, heres my best shots :P whatdoyouthink ?

What a perfect name for this cultivar: CANDY APPLE!

With all the superb camera work I have seen from you, I feel I shouldn't point a master in any particular direction, BUT, I cannot help myself...Have you tried adding fill-in flash from a steep angle with a removeable flash to bring out some of the shimmer missing in the available light shots?
