Honeybells
Yea they might be older types but for rapid growth hard to beat. My 5yr. olds spaced 2ft apart almost look like one huge plant. plus the fragrance mmmm I guess im just an old fashion simple type but i love em. almost as fragrant as my royal standards.

Honeybells is one of those good old standby plants that we take for granted, I think. I did actually take a pic of mine for once. It's not the best site, as the poor thing is crowded in behind a huge Lady Isobel Barnett and under an Arnold's Red honeysuckle in need of pruning. My DD has a ring of them (yes, the dreaded hosta ring) planted around each of the oak trees that flank her driveway. They make a nice flowing mound and really set off the hosta beds that spread out from them, and also help to soften the line of the drive that's cut into the hill.

When I bought my Honeybells in 2007 it was mislabelled as Royal Standard. Royal Standard doesn't have droopy leaves like this.
