Hosta College

Post by thehostagourmet »

Is everyone ready for Hosta College?

My Hosta Hybridizing 101 is third period, so if anyone is skipping lunch, I'll have extra handouts. Unfortunately, it looks like I won't have any Hosta flowers to use for demonstration, so I'll have to talk my way through it.

Me talk? Does a duck waddle?

Sorry George, I need my lunch but I may drop by with some flowers just for you! Several of my seedling scapes have buds but I'm not sure if they will be developed enough/opened on Friday....anything can happen.

Walters Gardens came through!!!

Post by thehostagourmet »

I just heard from Bob Kuk that Amy Bergeron from Walters Gardens was able to secure some flower scapes from their greenhouses for us, and they have been sent to Bob who is bringing them to Hosta College.

Can Leafmould and I get it on a cheap DVD or pod-cast ? We may skip lunch, but as skinny as we are, there will be no visual concerns

 @ Planwerk ... do you want it in Danish
