When I resized these pics, I labelled them using the new ID system I've come up with. My system makes sense to me - does it make sense to you??

- Vanilla Cream is another hosta that always looks good. Mine only gets dappled light on the north side of the crab apple tree.

Renaldo, may I ask, what causes the type of brown spots like the lower right corner of "Dancing in the Rain"? I watered one of my hosta beds late in the day, when the weather was really warm and dry, and alot of my leaves got spots that look like that....

I think that was probly a bit of sunscald that could have started from moisture still being on the leaf when it got hot the next day. But I had LOTS of it last year from all of our heat - mostly on hostas that get more sun than they should. I hope to actually get the soaker hoses laid out this year. I thought I would last year, but with all of the rearranging I did in 2 beds, it never happened.

Beautiful pics, Ren. I do have to laugh at your labeling for each pic. I looked at Gay Blade (GaBl) and the first thing I thought of was Gall Bladder. (that's what happens when you work in the medical field). I can't share with you what I first thought of when I saw Vanilla Cream (VaCr).
Whatever works for you....I need to put a bit more of the name in my IDing when I save pics on the computer. My memory is not as good as yours.
