- I'm hoping Remember Me will be a little bigger this year, but I think it did pretty well in 2006 after losing all but one leaf from the frost in 2005.

- I moved Teaspoon to a spot where it won't scald every summer. It did grow well in this location - it just got more sun than it could handle.

- Green Piecrust looked so good in the spring & after all of the heat last summer its leaves looked like they'd been burned off with a blowtorch...

Are you sure you will recognize your garden this year, with all the new walls you put in?renaldo75 wrote:my garden will look this good again I hope.
Love the plant combinations, and I agree with Leafy that your experience in the floral arranging business certainly shows in your garden.

Thanks, Linda!! I think looking at the placement of hostas in gardens like yours & Mr. LM's & lots of others here on Hallson's had just as much to do with my newer hosta arrangements. But I'm sure there's 25 years of floral design experience somewhere out there too. I am just trying to make each hosta stand out on its own as much as possible by both contrasting & complimenting with the hostas around it, repeating color combinations, contrasting with color, size, & texture.
As far as the new & extended walled gardens go - they need a lot more soil added before hostas can get planted in them. Wish I could morph my van into a pickup & go make a couple runs for some Oma-Gro compost...
