I love Lily Pad's leaves & form - but it sure isn't easy to find a spot where it looks good - hopefully I'll figure out where to put it this year.

More beauties, Ren! I do love the dark ones and I love the glossy leaves of Lily Pad. Mine looked great in June ,but I seem to recall that it got kind of ratty looking soon after??

Thanks, Joan & Jill. :P

Joan - I don't think mine has ever gotten ratty. Even this last year when I had it sitting in just the clump of dirt I dug it out of the ground with sitting in a low bowl-type pot. And more of the roots kept showing every time I watered. It still looked good in spite of my callous neglect..... And then when it blooms it sure is something!! :P 8-) There's something about yingeri-type blooms that make me smile whenever I see them.
GO HAWKEYES!!!
