I love this grouping - montana Aureomarginata in the lower left, Pizzazz to its right, then Elvis Lives & Spritzer behind EL; Heuchera Frosted Violet is behind Pizzazz.

Olive Branch is just to the south of montana Aureomarginata - it was the fullest it had ever been & looked nicer than it had in previous years.

H. montana Aureomarginata is bordered by a crescent-shaped grouping of Pacific Blue Edger [6 clumps from 3 plants divided in 1/2 when they were planted in 2003] at the circular east end of this garden.

Great pics- repeating myself I know
I really like the purple heucheras combined with hostas

Loookd very carefully on your Pizzazz in all pics- one of the first new ones I got and I have been disapointed with if, but .. looking at yours I think it is one of those hostas you need to have up close to really see and enjoy the edge colorations.. if that's the fact- I will move mine

Thanks again, Pia!! :P

Pizzazz has been one of my favorites since the 1st spring I saw mine unfurl. And then I got another one from Hallson's as my bonus plant for an order shortly after that. This one is the bonus plant. Here are some close-up pics of several interesting leaves last year. I divided this plant last summer & kept out the 2 eyes that had the interesting leaves to see if they'd do anything else - like sport maybe. I'm sure they won't but we'll see what happens.
