More red petioles

These two are a bit more unusual.
The first is a streaked Formal Attire Seedling and the second, one of the yellow streaked or maybe just margined now with white and a red petiole.

Looks like lots of red on that streaked Formal Attire seedling.

Just how did you acquire a streaked Formal Attire??

I've never heard of that being one that would sport to a streaked plant. [But then I lead a sheltered life.]

Just found someone willing to part with some seeds.

I know this plant is a long way away from being mature so I have no idea how it will turn out. I got 20 nice medium green ones with medium green streaks from the same seeds (That is solid green to most without using your imagination).

Are red petioles becoming dominant on hostas now? Seems most of my seedlings have some red.

bottom one is my fav, hope it keeps the white edge for ya, even better if it doesn't green up too much over the summer.
