Piecrust babies

Post by eastwood2007 »

I was so surprised when I looked today! These are some 'Green Piecrust' seedlings from seeds I got in the Hallson exchange from Chris. Sorry about the poor quality photos. These are really tiny babies....just a few days old and a number of them are showing the ripples....My first ripples!!!! :D

I love ruggles and ripples and it's amazing how even the tiny ones like you have are showing all that ruffling! Can't wait to see them when they grow up some more.

Neat little seedlings.
Those did not wait long to show a nice edge.
Please show them again when they are getting bigger.

Thanks, Donna. I will post some more pics. Can't help myself, ya know. :D I noticed 4-5 more today in that same batch that are putting on ruffles! Sorry to be so excited, but I don't have a ruffled anything in my garden yet...these are the first ruffles I have even seen except in pictures! I guess I have led a sheltered life! :D

Matt
Chris may still have some...it was very late in the season when I got these seeds from him.
