Hostadream fotoshoot 02.04.2007

On monday 2 april, a nice sunny day and temps. to 19°.
The first Hostas growing fast and the other are showing there noses.
From now on are starts the season quickly.
The temps. are good in the next days and i hope it will be so !! :P :P

Yep Charla, but the coming night are the temps to 1° :x :x

Nice pics Dirk :D . It really looks like Spring in your garden. Here in my garden the eyes have not even started to grow out of the soil yet. But we are supposed to have colder weather this weekend, and possible snow, so I am happy they are still sleeping.

PIM, what is your location? It may be colder there, but I am glad you are not like some of us, with leaves unfurled and below freezing temps expected all week! :)

That Chiquitta is just stunning, never heard of it before - thanks

My hostas are not harmed by minus 2 C as unfurled- please mention it is at soil level- forecasts are not in soil level

Too funny.

Chiquita is almost unknown in the U.S., but there is (was?) an extensive of it at the Parc Floral in Paris. By late summer it's pretty green, though. A banana in reverse!
