Papou, I am glad you were persistent in getting that pic of Liberty posted. It was worth the effort...it's a beauty! :D

As for Liberty I found a 2006 pic. It measured 40x22 last year and like Hank mentioned, Liberty seems to grow low....semi-upright to the best.
I'm also posting another pic showing Liberty with Jade Cascade and Risky Business...a matter of practicing...

Here are a couple pics of mine. I got it late summer of 04, and it's actually been a good grower for me. These are pics from last summer (and please pardon the hail damage!)

Your Liberty is huge, Linda, and it's not even in the chicken yard section. :D

I finally found my pictures form last year, and of course, have a few of Liberty. I don't know if they will appear in the right order, but they were taken May 5, May 12, and the last on June 29, where you can see some leaves damaged from the late May freezes we had. I love this hosta. I find it grows quite fast. Last one may not be very sharp, I've opened and looked at it hundreds of times :D

:D Thanks Rachel. I also found a picture showing the general area where Liberty grows in my garden...right about where that little green star is on the right of the pic. (taken last Thursday, Apr. 12) I can see it out the kitchen window

 Is that what you see from your window this time of year

It looks beautiful, but... specially at Christmas time

At least it gives a good reason for you soaking out all the healthy yellow in Liberty :o

I was going to pass by a bit of the Gulf Stream, but noe they talk about ns around frezing point and day temps between 5 and 1o C.. what a unpleasant ride from the 25 we have had today

Yes Pia, I still have snow. It has snowed every Thursday since our first major snow storm on Feb. 15, and every second week we also get snow on Sunday/Monday. In the last 3 weeks or so, it melts in between snowfalls, though. I still have one large drift, in a new bed that is over 12 inches high, and a few snowbanks here and there where the snow was pushed during the winter. Also, with each new snowfall this month, the deer come and visit, they've nibbled on the daylilies already

Your Liberty is gorgeous, Barb!! 8-)

Pia - I noticed that the cherry tree that hangs over the neighbor's fence into my yard just started blooming today. It doesn't seem to have been affected by the extreme cold at all. :o I guess I need a bunch of cherry trees if that's the case.
